Snow Angels are Needed!

The City of Burnaby’s Snow Angels Program:

  • Encourages residents to be Snow Angels and voluntarily shovel snow for seniors and others with mobility restrictions during the winter
  • Unites those needing assistance to keep their sidewalks clear with volunteer Snow Angels from Burnaby Community groups and organizations

It’s Easy to Become a Snow Angel!

To be a Snow Angel, look for individuals in your community that could use a helping hand this winter. Adopt their sidewalks and keep them clear of snow and ice. Snow Angels can be individuals, community group members, even high school students looking for volunteer hours. It's that easy!

Why Be a Snow Angel?

Keeping sidewalks clear of snow and ice is important for everyone’s safety, particularly for those with limited mobility. As a Snow Angel, you are being a good neighbour by lending a helping hand and keeping our City sidewalks safe for everyone.

All Burnaby Snow Angels will receive a Snow Angels pin and a certificate of recognition from the City. For High School students recognition of volunteer hours will be noted and a letter from City staff will be provided to your school
